Weekend trip with Hazel and Shiwei - I

Before I even start on my Easter trip, gotta backtrack to the time when Hazel, Shiwei and I took a weekend trip (as usual.. haha) out to Coventry! Bunked in at Hazel's friend, Ben's room!
Next day, we headed out to Warwick (pronounced as 'War-rick') to visit the Warwick Castle. Had loads of fun there, and this is the first time entering a castle! They actually preserved the rooms to their original state with Mdm Tassauds wax figure to mimic how life was like living in the castle.

Then it started to rain.. haha..
imagine all the knights on horses galloping through this passageway to the castle...
And to add to the medieval feel...
Souvenir shops in medieval tents
going inside the dark castle... a table showing how people in those times feasted. Also learnt how the word "pot-luck" came about. Basically, the nobles and pple from higher caste will eat first, the left overs in the pot are for servants and squires. So if u turn up late for dinner, all the eeky inards will sink to the bottom of the pot and leftover for u. So whatever the servants picked out of the pot will be on their luck...whether it's meat or disgusting inards and bones. haha... and so "pot-luck"!
